Fantasies, Fables and Frights

A HALLOWEEN PROJECT

Do you enjoy mystery, delight and intrigue? A good yarn? A real scare? Then enter the world of ‘Fantasies, Fables and Frights’ where anything could happen and probably will. Seven original tales inspired by the cultural roots of the local area are to be brought to life as original plays with newly composed music...and all to celebrate the Festival of Halloween.

The project comprises two linked productions...

‘SUMMER’S EDGE’

an original, full-length, fantasy musical, written, directed and musically-directed by Alison Watt and John Pattison. This will be performed, in the round, at Westwood Theatre between 25th and 29th October 2016.

‘AUTUMN BITES’

Six short, dark, humorous and disturbing plays, written by six local, emerging writers working in collaboration with local composers. These will be performed in The Small Room at Scarborough Library on the 4th and 5th November 2016.
